Is the SEIU In Trouble?
SEIU under fire

Thursday, August 6th, 2009, 19:22This evening on the Mark Levin show, Mark mentions probing into the SEIU to determine if they have been using union dues illegally to promote politics. Mark Levin’s non-profit conservative legal advocacy group Landmark Legal Foundation, “has made efforts to scale back funding for non-profits which it holds to be political in nature but list no political expenditures on tax forms.”[from wikipedia ugh] The NEA has been a constant target, with Landmark fighting for a higher quality, lower cost education.
Recently the SEIU has been a strong advocate of Obama’s health care plan even packing into a St. Louis townhall meeting, filling it with half SEIU members. If they have been using tax-exempt Union dues to fund any political movement they will be in trouble.
Everyday people have been accused of astroturfing, but what is it when the SEIU starts sending their drones to these meetings?
