Democrats breaking more arms
Need to prop up healthcare somehow
By Andrew deRenzy
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009, 3:58Democrats finding themselves pining for Bush to pass any and all blame for their problems, have gotten themselves in a wrinkle. They are now breaking the arms of the “Blue Dogs” in their identity politics. The “conservative” [yeah right] democrats seem to be getting their way though, moving closer to eliminating two provisions: a requirement on employers to provide insurance or pay a fine, and the public insurance [non]option. Those that favour the provisions are on the attack, accusing them of trying to win republican votes. Well excuse them for doing their job of “representin’ the peeps”. Nancy Pelosi is still hopeful to ram the bill down our throats, er… rush it through a vote by the August recess.
