Swing and a miss

Supposedly Michelle Malkin, when asked which “conservative” commentator needs to shut up, she said Meghan McCain. I couldn’t find Meghan providing any specific quote, so I’m guessing she’s twisting it to be personal just like she does with other conservatives that call her out. Meghan, you are lucky you got grouped with the amazing conservatives. You are not one, you say so your self. There is no such thing as a “moderate” conservative, it’s plain conservative, no matter what age, kin, creed, color, or if you have tattoos or not. You aren’t being called out for being young and the daughter of a terrible Presidential nominee. You provide insignificant content, riding purely on your wave of popularity to advance your “moderate” agenda. Just like your father, weak, insignificant, and incoherent. Stop attacking the right for having disagreements with you, attack the left for the disagreements that are much more problematic. But it’s too late for that now.

Conservatives and moderate Republicans alike will fail to view her as anything other than the spoiled, vacuous daughter of a former presidential candidate. Being attractive and having Thousands of twitter followers might make you popular, but it in no way lends gravity to what you say.

If you take disagreements with your moderate views as personal attacks, you are weak, and you have no place in any party. You need a strong stomach in these cut-throat days. We don’t want a sea-sick leader.

There has never been a time in my life (22 years) where I have not heard [from the majority of the elected] that the government knows whats good for us. That they are above us, we are too ignorant, reckless, we can’t handle our own money, they know how to spend it for us. We can’t drive a nice big safe car because the earth will shed a tear. We can’t smoke because it will kill us 60 years from now. We can’t save our own money for retirement because others need to retire now. We don’t know how to read legislation, you need a team of lawyers and several days! [A law too complicated to understand should never be passed]

Does it sound rational to say that “I don’t like frilly underwear so I’m for legislation banning frilly underwear”? Where in the constitution does one group have precedent over another? Where is it fathomable that we subsidize a small group of people that can’t afford, not can’t obtain, AFFORD, health care? Every year in highschool we were forced to write a paper on mandatory volunteerism, I was always against it, but didn’t see until after that government is forced volunteerism. The Nanny State is almost inescapable today. Our hard work is devalued when a dollar amount is placed on it above what others perceive as rich. What business is it of anyone how hard we work and how much we get paid? What business is it of the government to take from us, our family, our friends, to give to a freeloader 2,000 miles away? Where can they point out in the constitution, that men have the right to the hard work of others? They can’t. They think they are above us, but we know they are our servants. They hate us for using our God given rights. And we can always put them in their place, whether through election or revolution we can always use the timeless words of our forefathers, the Declaration of Independence, again.

So why on earth would she hold her town hall meeting in a Church of all places? What happened to your definition of seperation of church and state? Or is this just you attempt to silence the reverent people of Orange County California? The left scream in favor of a woman’s right to choose, they call their opposition gay bashers and wife beaters. Sanchez attempted to have her elitist friends over at the playboy mansion for crying out loud! But when it comes down to it the American people are conservative and dems try to pass themselves off as so, because conservatives win elections.

I guess we can’t have people being judged on their merits, and they can do a 180 when they are under pressure and not receive criticism.

The 9 republicans were:  Lamar Alexander (TN), Kit Bond (MO), Susan Collins (ME), Lindsey Graham (SC), Judd Gregg (NH), Dick Lugar (IN), Mel Martínez (FL), Olympia Snowe (ME) and George Voinovich (OH).

I’m also having a tough time figuring out why Edward Kennedy (D-MA) can get away with a did not vote but declared support. Some just don’t want to miss the bandwagon even if it means holding onto the Senator title while dying. You can’t do your job, let someone else represent your state full time.

The common sense the protesters have to show up and be against the health care reform is going over the left’s heads. They are hard working Americans showing up to these townhalls after work. Making their own signs, bringing their neighbors, getting together because they share a common interest. Stopping bad health care reform.

Serf’s revolted at 5% tax per person, our forefathers estimated tax was 10-15%, divorce takes 50% of your money, and the the US Government takes up to 60% of your money. Only now are we standing up and that’s not enough for the Democrats. They are not enough for us.

We always hear about how republicans are crazy extremist evangelicals, or Palin supported some extremist[no relation] christian group. But how is their protection of the right to practice religion been demonized by the left? Our dollar still says in God We Trust, and our pledge of allegiance one nation under God. Our founding fathers did not intend for a war to be raised on religion when they added the separation of church and state to the constitution. It was merely intended that our government would not recognize one religion over the other. Clergy would not be a requirement to be an elected official, they did not want to set up a theocracy, but they did want to protect the values of believing in a higher power because that’s what all laws are based upon. You can choose not to believe in God as a higher power, but you must still recognize the validity of right and wrong as a higher power or else our laws are baseless.

The media has portrayed republicans as evangelicals that hate homosexuals, think blacks are an abomination, want to put women in subordinate roles as housewives, and think you will go to hell for not going to church.

This couldnt be further from the truth. You are free to practice any religion or non-religion of your choosing. Today only 14% of the US population currently don’t affiliate themselves with any religion. The Liberal media will go to republican events, or protests and find the most radical member attending and portray the entire group as being just like them. Fair reporting has died long ago, and its unfortunate that many people will act so harshly at these events, and that the news portrays everyone as being just like them.

If you doubt me, go to a church one day and have a discussion with the people there. They are loving, moral people just like yourself, and while you might not agree with everything they have to say, you cannot deny that the message of being a good person still holds true regardless of your way of worship. Right will always prevail over wrong.
